Hidden beaches of Montenegro

Montenegro has one of the most beautiful beaches I visited so far, with clear blue waters and mountains right next to the beach.
The scenery is amazing, and the narrow roads through the cliffs will make your heart beat raise.
Probably the most famous beach in Montenegro is Sveti Stefan in Budva, but not many people know about

the little island close to it called Sveti Nikola. Here, you can find many beautiful hidden spots, where you can swim alone with your friends and take some nice shots.
If you don't want to take the taxi boat to the Sveti Nikola Island, you can find another hidden beach in Budva called Plaza Drobni Pijesak, where the beach club Balun is located.

This spot is so hidden, you feel like you have the whole beach for yourself.
I recommend going there mid-September since it's sunny enough to get a nice tan, without feeling uncomfortable from the heat and probably it's less crowded in the September.
You have to be careful though, when you are hunting for hidden beaches, since there are some nudist beaches around and you might end up in one, like me and my friends did without realizing it.
Another thing you must know about Montenegro is that even though the people are very friendly and open, they do not speak english. On the first day, when we were trying to get to the beach we ended up on the nudist beach due to some miscommunication problems. At the time it was scary because a creepy guy was staring at us, but looking back at it now it is always one of the funniest stories we tell our friends about.
So if you plan on going to Montenegro be prepared to do some sign language or bring your international travel t-shirt .
